| Job Description: | • Achieve sales objectives and goals of the responsible territories
• Develop sales strategy align with objective and implement • Schedule calls to be made one week in advance and share this information in the daily sales briefings. • To develop a practice of weekly sales call plan in order to help better planning in terms of time management, sales objectives and who we want to see. • Build rapport with key Japanese Long Stay, Corporate and Leisure accounts • Complete assigned sales calls on a daily basis • Conduct impressive site inspections • When required attend/schedule lunch/dinner entertainment with potential clients • Ensure that all accounts profile and all sales reports and any other relevant information are updated and entered in Opera. • Coordinate sales blitzes in the designated areas of growth potential in Bangkok, industrial area with Director of Sales. • Understand factors that impact the market, inform management accordingly and suggest the solutions. • Keep research on competitor activities (promotions, events, campaign, property upgrade, market reputation etc.) and share among the team with analytical report. • Monthly performance report on each accounts and background their performance, prepare for strategic planning to cover short fall • Work closely with operation teams to update the VIPs and share the guest information in order to enable operation to deliver impressive services. • At all-time update database of client contact point in the provided software • Performs Sales and Marketing functions or related duties and special projects as assigned and directed by supervisors. • Dress in a manner which is conductive to a business environment whereby first impressions • reflect on the hotel image. • Identifying and generating new business opportunities • Negotiating contractual terms and conditions with distributors or customers for maximizing revenue yield. • Working with the Sales and Marketing Director to penetrate and expand distribution coverage in those markets focused. • Travelling overseas as per the company’s business plan schedule. |
| Qualifications: | • Thai/Japanese nationality, aged 30 years and up.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields. • Minimum 3 years of experience in 5 stars luxury hotel • A successful and proven sales track record and outstanding presentation skills. • Self-motivated, results-driven and dynamic person with initiative and high energy levels. • Good English & Japanese communication skills (both writing and speaking skills). Technical Skills: • Strong overall sales skills • Communicate clearly in English and Japanese language • Excellent presentation skill • Effective sales communication skills and personal performance • Solicit new accounts, maintain and/or increase business of existing accounts • Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm • Present ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized manner • Use problem solving methodology for decision making and follow-up • Understanding and achievement of team and individual goals • Familiarity and knowledge of all departments within the hotel • Be able to use Excel, Words and PowerPoint |
