Job Description:Position Purpose

To oversee, manage and drive growth to the hotel’s online sales and ensure presence on all e-distribution channels. Responsible for online activities as well as identifies new online distribution channels with the objective of achieving RevPAR-oriented goals consistently. Such activities including but not limited to E-Commerce planning, promotional strategies and tactics, and overall accountability for the day-to-day effectiveness of positions supervised. Position is under the supervision of Director of Revenue and Director of Sales & Marketing and adhering to policies and procedures as meted out by the designated hotels and company.

Essential Functions

1. Drive profitable growth of the online market segment and creating consumer demand through proprietary and third-party e-distribution channels.

2. Develop and maintain appearance of the booking engine, websites and web pages on other sites.

3. Ensure contents, pictures, promotions on the online distribution channels are up to date.

4. Establish and maintain relationship with key accounts and prospects in the e-commerce markets through sales visits, phone calls and correspondence.

5. Monitor competitors’ pricing, promotions and ensure that the hotel's current online rates and promotions are competitive, in parity and are properly presented in all channels.

6. Maintain an effective tracing system, monitor production of all online accounts and discuss appropriate action to further develop growth with Director of Revenue.

7. Responsible in developing new online business market.

8. Review hotel's website traffic analytics to identify trends and opportunities to grow online direct business.

9. Establish website strategy and development including search engine optimization, ad-words, page rank and links.

10. Coordinate with marketing on the execution of e-newsletter, e-mail campaign, social media, and on-line marketing activities.

11. Attend to relevant meetings, correspondence, and general administrative function as they arise.

12. Ensure that all inquiries from on-line travel agents are answered promptly and on time.

13. Support with Owner Reports, OTBs reports and any other reports in the DOR absence.

14. Submit regular report to DOSM & DOR
Qualifications:- Bachelor Degree or above in related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in a similar position.
- Strong writing and verbal English language skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced team environment.
- Experience in online distribution, marketing roles in the hotel industry.
- Ability to operate under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, self-motivation skills.
