The popular 15th Fitz Club Tennis Tournament thrilled the Pattaya crowd once again

The 15th Fitz Club Tennis Tournament recently held at the Fitz Club – Racquets, Health and Fitness was a smashing success. It is considered one of the most popular Tennis events in Pattaya which Tennis lovers always look forward to participate in or watch the thrilling matches. Sponsored by AssetWise, Yonex Thailand, Carabao Group, Daikin, VC Fabric, Tecnifibre, Home Mart, Supply Gallery and TPI Polene, the tournament brought local and international competitors and lively fans who came out for the 3 days of non-stop epic tennis action. There were many new entrants in this year’s tournament.

As one of the most highly anticipated sports events in Pattaya each year, the entertaining matches were once again competitive and produced top-level tennis. The tournament adopted an ATP World Tour finals style setting and the round-robin scoring system format which enabled competitors to play several electrifying matches against different opponents making it an action-packed weekend for all.

This year’s tournament was oversubscribed very quickly with all the spots filled within the first registration day. A new entrant from Belgium, Mr Staphanne Ifi took the 15th Fitz Club Tennis Champion title. He delivered a stellar performance and entertained all spectators with his finesse. The runner-up was Mr. Jiri Cermak, who has been a long-time participant of the Fitz Club Tournaments, and was the previous champion. Honorable mention to Mr. Ill Gu Windles who was the winner of the second division. Amazing athletes, admirable sportsmanship, and perfect weather made the 15th Fitz Club Tennis Tournament an event to remember!

The Fitz Club Tennis Tournament continues to promote sports, friendship, recreation, and the value of an active lifestyle, especially to more senior players. Royal Cliff aims to build a Tennis and sports community in Pattaya and give the older generation opportunity to stay active, improve their game, and get more socially connected. It continually makes a positive difference in the lives of senior athletes who are given the chance to play, have fun and develop a lifetime appreciation for the sport. Throughout the tournament there were lots of food and beverages for everyone to enjoy. The event also had a certified nurse on standby to cater to any injuries making it a very well organized tournament.

การแข่งขัน ฟิตซ์ คลับ เทนนิสทัวร์นาเมนท์ ครั้งที่ 15 ที่จัดขึ่นเมื่อเร็วๆ นี้ ณ ฟิตซ์ คลับ – แร็กเก็ต, เฮ้ลท์ แอนด์ ฟิตเนส หนึ่งในการแข่งขันเทนนิสที่ได้รับความนิยมมากที่สุดในพัทยาและได้รับความสนใจจากนักเทนนิสทั่วโลก ประสบความสำเร็จเป็นอย่างยิ่ง โดยได้รับการสนับสนุนเป็นอย่างดีจากสปอนเซอร์หลัก ได้แก่ บริษัท แอสเซทไวส์ จำกัด (มหาชน), บริษัท โยเน็กซ์ ประเทศไทย, บริษัท คาราบาวกรุ๊ป จำกัด, บริษัท ไดกิ้น จำกัด, บจก. วี ซี แฟบริค, เทคนิไฟเบอร์, โฮมมาร์ท, ซัพพลาย แกลลอรี่, และ บริษัท ทีพีไอ โพลีน จำกัด ในปีนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมแข่งขันทั้งชาวไทยและต่างชาติ รวมถึงแฟนเทนนิสเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันมากมายตลอด 3 วันที่น่าตื่นเต้น โดยมีนักเทนนิสหน้าใหม่เข้าร่วมชิงชัยหลายคนในปีนี้

ฟิตซ์ คลับ เทนนิสทัวร์นาเมนท์ เป็นหนึ่งในเกมการแข่งขันที่มีผู้คนรอคอยมากที่สุดในพัทยา เช่นเดียวกับทุกปีที่ผ่านมา การแข่งขันเต็มไปด้วยความสนุกสนานและช่วยยกระดับกีฬาเทนนิสในพัทยาไปอีกขั้น ฟิตซ์ คลับ เทนนิสทัวร์นาเมนท์ ใช้ระบบการแข่งขันแบบเดียวกับเอทีพี เวิลด์ ทัวร์ และจัดการแข่งแบบ round robin เพื่อให้ผู้แข่งขันมีโอกาสได้ประลองฝีมือกับคู่ต่อสู้หลากหลายระดับ สร้างความสนุกสนานเร้าใจตลอด 3 วันของการแข่งขัน

มีนักเทนนิสให้ความสนใจลงทะเบียนเพื่อเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันในปีนี้เกินกว่าที่เปิดรับอย่างรวดเร็วตั้งแต่วันแรกที่เปิดให้ลงทะเบียน โดยผู้ชนะในปีนี้ได้แก่ คุณสเตฟาน อิฟิ นักหวดลูกสักหลาดจากเบลเยี่ยมซึ่งเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันเป็นครั้งแรก เอาชนะคุณจีรี่ เซอร์หมาก จากสาธารณรัฐเช็กไปอย่างสวยงาม รองชนะเลิศในปีนี้เคยเข้าร่วม ฟิตซ์ คลับ เทนนิสทัวร์นาเมนท์มาหลายปีและเป็นแชมป์ของปีที่แล้ว สำหรับในดิวิชั่น 2 ผู้ชนะได้แก่ คุณ อิล กู วินเดิลส์ นอกจากฝีมือการเล่นที่ยอดเยี่ยมแล้ว ในปีนี้ผู้ชมการแข่งขันยังได้เห็นถึงน้ำใจนักกีฬาและเพลิดเพลินไปกับการแข่งขันสุดมันส์ท่ามกลางอากาศที่แจ่มใสของเมืองพัทยา
