Chinese New Year set menus created by Chef Lam Kok Weng. On 19 February 2015, guests can choose from among five set menu meals. Among many dish highlights will be Peking duck, sliced abalone, prawns, and whole fish in soya sauce. Xin Tian Di restaurant was recently named ‘Best Chinese Restaurant’ by Bangkok Best Dining & Entertainment magazine, and the superlatives will definitely be on display for this year’s Chinese New Year festivities. Gatherings of families and friends will delight in not only superb cuisine but also important holiday traditions, including yee sang (‘tossing up good fortune’) whereby serving of a special fish salad marks the beginning of each meal and ensures a full year of good fortune and fine health for all. Another highlight during the meal will be a festive and exciting lion dance, while earlier a traditional dragon dance performance will begin in the hotel lobby to usher in the Year of the Goat. Chinese New Year set menu prices at Xin Tian Di start at THB 16,880++ for 10 people.
