A Night with The Divas, New & Jew at Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya 10th Annual Charity Project 2011On 22 October 2011, Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya held its 10th Annual Charity Project at Hall of Fame Ballroom with the theme ‘A Night with the Divas, New & Jew’.Our deepest gratitude to General Kanit Permsub, Deputy Chief Aide-De-Camp and General to His Majesty the King and Khun Ithipol Kunpleum, Mayor of Pattaya City for their patronage and lending their utmost supports on this yearly charitable drive. The Opening Ceremony and Cocktail Reception were held at Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya’s sassiest venue, The Soul Lounge. Drinks were on free-flow and guests were offered to buy ‘charity drinks’ at THB 100 per glass flanked by our winners and finalists of Ms. Hard Rock Pattaya. This is followed by a sumptuous and gastronomical buffet feast specially created for the night. The night started off with the auctioning of limited edition and collection photos of His Majesty the King and with Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, which are donated generously by General Kanit who was granted to bring these exclusive collections which have never been used in general public to this auction. Laughter and fun-filled atmosphere were recorded during the auctioning of favorite items such as room accommodation vouchers as guests trying to outbid each others. On top of that, there were some great and collectable items that were immediately snap-up during the auction such as a boxing glove with Muhammad Ali’s signature, David Beckham photo with his autograph and OBE honorary medal, montage of Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, the popular British band Take That, Robbie Williams, paintings donated by Asian’s talented mute artist, Wilson Goh and many more. ‘The Divas’ duo, New & Jew rocked and took centre stage later in the night. All guests were awed and mesmerized by their perfect performances and combination of their soulful voices got their fans up and dancing. It is indeed a great night to end! This year, proceeds will be donated to fund the following organizations: 1. H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Charity Fund 2. The Melissa Cosgrove Children’s Foundation 3. Chonburi College of Agriculture and Technology 4. Baan Chark Nork Primary School 5.
