GOLF TOURNAMENT FUNDRAISER โดยฮาร์ดร็อคพัทยา และ พัทยาเมลล์ มีเดีย กรุ๊ปเมื่อวันที่ 21 ธันวาคม 2556 โรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อคพัทยา ร่วมกับพัทยาเมล์ มีเดีย กรุ๊ป ได้จัดงาน Golf Tournament Fundraiser 2013 ที่สนามกอล์ฟอีสเทิร์นสตาร์ จังหวัดระยอง เพื่อสนับสนุนโครงการการกุศล ของโรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อคพัทยา
การจัดงานได้การตอบรับเป็นอย่างดีโดยมีจำนวนผู้ร่วมแข่งขันทั้งหมด 62 คน และรายได้หลังหักค่าใช้จ่ายเป็นจำนวน 66,000 บาท ซึ่งจะมอบให้กับโครงการการกุศลของโรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อค พัทยา ปี 2557 ซึ่งจะถูกนำไปมอบให้กับมูลนิธิมหาจักรีสิรินธร, โรงเรียนบ้านนอก, โรงเรียนวัดสว่างอารมณ์, โครงการร็อคเดอะฟาร์ม, ร็อคเดอะลั้นช์ และร็อคเดอะสคูล

นักกอล์ฟลงทะเบียนตั้งแต่เวลา 10 โมงเช้า และได้อุ่นเครื่องก่อนที่จะลงสนามจริงด้วยการตีในหลุมที่ 19 หรือ Fun-Hole โดยใช้กีต้าร์โปร่งหรือกีต้าร์ไฟฟ้าแทนไม้กอล์ฟ ทั้งยังสร้างสีสันด้วยการแต่งกายเป็นร็อคเกอร์ ซึ่งมีชุดให้เลือกในแบบต่าง ๆ ผู้ที่สามารถตีลงหลุมได้ก็จะรับรางวัล กิจกรรมช่วงนี้สร้างเสียงหัวเราะและความสนุกสนานได้ไม่น้อย หากนักกอล์ฟท่านใด รู้สึกกระหายทาง Pernod Ricard มีเครื่องดื่มให้ได้แก้กระหายและลดความตื่นเต้น พร้อมผ้าเย็นให้ผ่อนคลาย นักกอล์ฟบางท่านได้กล่าวว่านี่แหละ คือแบบของฮาร์ดร็อค
นอกจากนั้นยังมีบริการโลชั่นกันแดดให้นักกอล์ฟทุกท่าน โดยนักกอล์ฟจะต้องบริจาคเงินเพื่อเข้ากองทุนการกุศล
เมื่อมาถึงหลุม 3 หรือ Hospitality Hole หากนักกอล์ฟท่านใดที่ปวดเมื่อยจากวงสวิง พักนวดไหล่เป็นเวลา 15 นาที โดยนักบำบัดจากร็อคสปา พร้อมบริการผ้าเย็นและน้ำสมุนไพรดับกระหายและเพิ่มความสดชื่น ก่อนที่จะลงสนามต่อไป
หลุมที่ 13 หรือ Charity Hole นักกอล์ฟจะถูกทดสอบการทีอ๊อฟ โดยหากนักกอล์ฟตีไม่ลงหลุม จะมีการปรับครั้งละ 100 บาท เพื่อเข้าสู่กองทุน และท้ายสุดหลุมยอดนิยม หลุม 17 หรือ Sexy Hole ที่อาจทำให้นักกอล์ฟเสียสมาธิ โดยมีพริตตี้จาก Bacardi คอยต้อนรับด้วยผ้าเย็น เครื่องดื่มจาก Bacardi และเบียร์เย็นๆ
หลังจากนั้นในช่วงค่ำ ฮาร์ดร็อคพัทยาได้จัดงานดินเนอร์ ค็อกเทลปาร์ตี้ และการประกาศรางวัลให้กับนักกอล์ฟที่เข้าร่วมงาน ที่โซลเล้าจน์โรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อคพัทยา รางวัลต่างๆ ได้แก่ รางวัลตีไกล, ตีใกล้พินมากที่สุดและผู้ที่เล่นได้คะแนนมากที่สุด

In total, 62 golfers participated in this fun-filled golf charity tournament and THB 66,o00 were raised in which donated to Hard Rock Charity Fund 2014 whose beneficiaries includes H.R.H Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Charity Fund, Baan Nok School and Wat Sawang Arom School, Rock The Farm, Rock The Lunch and Rock The School projects. Registration started early at 10am onwards with group photo taken before the starting of the tournament, shot-gun style at 12 noon. Prior to actual tee-off, all golfers participated in the Hard Rock 19th Fun-Hole, where they were required to don wigs and fancy dress and test theirs putting skill with real-size guitar, with the choice of either acoustic or electric guitar to win some prizes. This draws much laughter and delights and set the ‘fun’ tone for the tournament. A nearby kiosk was set at the same area, providing free shot of ‘Ricard’ aperitif for those ‘nervous’ golfers and some prefers to simply call it ‘Hard Rock’ Style!
Forget your sun lotion prior to tee-off? No fuss as sun lotion service was provided by band members of Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya and they gladly put it on for you, for a fee of course, all for the sake of charity!
Moving on to the golf course, more surprises awaits! At Hole no. 3 namely call ‘Hospitality Hole’ where golfers were pamper-treated with 15 seconds shoulder massage, provided exclusively by well-trained masseuses of Rock Spa and serving of cold towel with refreshing ginger tea before moving on.
At Hole no.13, golfers were tested on tee-off skills. They were forewarned that any strayed shot on this hole will be fined THB 100 in exchange of a glass of available drinks. All monetary collected will be channel to the fund. That is why it s call ‘Charity Hole’
And lastly, the favorite Hole no. 17 which is called ‘Sexy Hole’ and distraction is the name of the game, added for the golfers. Upon arrival to this hole, golfers were welcomed by sexy ladies, sponsored by Bacardi, where cold towel, Bacardi drinks and cold beer were served. On top of that, these pretties assisted further by helping the golfers to put up the tee for them, for a fee of course!
Later in the evening, all golfers adjourned to the Award and Prize giving ceremony which was held at the exclusive Soul Lounge of Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya, where cocktail with free flow of drinks were served, followed by a sumptuous buffet dinner specially prepared for the event.
Apart from the prizes for the winners of each category, there are also prizes for other technical holes including longest hitter, nearest to the pin and special prize for the highest score too!
