PROJECT HANDOVER CEREMONY HUAY YAI SCHOOL BY HARD ROCK HOTEL & CAFE PATTAYA

On 12 November 2013, Hard Rock Hotel & Café Pattaya’s management team led by General Manager, Mr. Jorge Carlos Smith handed over the completion of the new canteen, kitchen, sinks and activity area to Huay Yai School, led by Mr. Viroj Ampornwichai, Director of Huay Yai School, teachers and students of Huay Yai School as one of our TAKE TIME TO BE KIND activities.

This was one of the Annual Charity projects that was initiated in 2012 to help local schools and organizations that were in need. The total fund raised from last year were THB 1,443,636 which were from direct donations, charity concert ticket sales, auctions, donation boxes, charity T-shirt sales and guests’ “rounding up” the bill in the restaurants & bars of Hard Rock Hotel & Café Pattaya. THB 940,000 was utilized in building the facilities for this school.

For other funds from 2012, THB 100,000 went to the H.R.H. PRINCESS MAHA CHAKRI SIRINDHORN CHARITY FUND. THB 900,000 was spent on a pickup truck for CHILDREN AND WOMEN PROTECTION CENTER, ROYAL THAI POLICE, REGION 2 to support their activities in the combat and suppression of abuse of children and women, prostitution, and human trafficking.

TAKE TIME TO BE KIND is one of Hard Rock’s credos and it goes to the very core of our beliefs in our team at the Hotel and Café. We try to approach our daily working life with this in mind, through charitable activities either initiated by Hard Rock colleagues from overseas, or created and implemented by us in Pattaya, to try to take care of our local community, the underprivileged and people who are in need.

Our band members’ commitment and passion for service means that we take care of this business. But we are guided by our beliefs Take Time to be Kind • Love All-Serve All • All is One • Save the Planet, and we hope the extra things we do takes care of our soul.

โรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อคและคาเฟ่พัทยา ส่งมอบโครงการสร้างสาธารณูปโภค แก่โรงเรียนห้วยใหญ่

ในวันที่ 12 พฤศจิกายน 2556 พนักงานและคณะผู้บริหารโรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อคและคาเฟ่ พัทยา นำโดย มร. จอร์จ คาร์ลอส สมิธ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป จัดพิธีส่งมอบโครงการสร้างสาธารณูปโภค ซึ่งได้แก่โรงอาหาร ห้องครัว อ่างล้างมือ และบริเวณจัดกิจกรรม ให้กับโรงเรียนห้วยใหญ่ นำโดยนายวิโรจน์ อำพรวิชัย ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน คณะครูอาจารย์ และนักเรียน โครงการนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของกิจกรรมTake Time to Be Kind หรือ ให้เวลาเกื้อกูลกันของทางโรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อคและคาเฟ่พัทยา

โครงการโรงเรียนห้วยใหญ่นี้เป็นหนึ่งในโครงการการกุศลประจำปี 2555 ที่จัดขึ้นเพื่อช่วยเหลือโรงเรียน และองค์กรต่างๆ ที่ขาดแคลน รายได้ที่ได้จากโครงการประจำปี 2555 ทั้งหมดเป็นจำนวน 1,443,636 บาท ซึ่งได้จากการบริจาคโดยตรง การจำหน่ายบัตรคอนเสิร์ตการกุศล การประมูล กล่องบริจาค การจำหน่ายเสื้อการกุศล และการปัดเศษเงินในบิลที่ห้องอาหารและบาร์ ของโรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อคและคาเฟ่ พัทยา และเงินจำนวน 940,000 บาท ได้ถูกนำไปใช้ในการสร้างสาธารณูปโภคให้กับโรงเรียนห้วยใหญ่นี้

ส่วนรายได้จากการกุศลของปี 2555 ส่วนอื่นๆ เงินจำนวน 100,000 บาท มอบให้กับมูลนิธิในสมเด็จพระเทพรัตนราชสุดาสยามบรมราชกุมารี, 900,000 บาท สำหรับรถกระบะ เพื่อเป็นการสนับสนุนการดำเนินงานของศูนย์พิทักษ์เด็ก เยาวชน และสตรี ตำรวจภูธรภาค 2

Take Time to Be Kind เป็นหนึ่งในคติพจน์ ที่พนักงานและผู้บริหารทุกคนร่วมแรงร่วมใจ และปฏิบัติตาม โดยที่เรานำคติพจน์นี้มาปฏิบัติในทุกอย่าง ทุกวันที่เราทำ และผ่านกิจกรรมการกุศลต่างๆ ทั้งที่ริเริ่มโดยฮาร์ดร็อคอินเตอร์เนชั่นนอล และโครงการที่ทางฮาร์ดร็อคพัทยาริเริ่มขึ้นเอง เพื่อช่วยเหลือชุมชนท้องถิ่น และผู้ที่ขาดแคลน
