มาร่วมฉลองวันครบรอบก่อตั้งฮาร์ดร็อค วันพฤหัสบดีที่ 14 มิถุนายน 2555 ฮาร์ดร็อคแห่งแรกได้ก่อตั้งขึ้น วันนี้เมื่อ 41 ปีที่แล้ว ที่กรุงลอนดอน ประเทศอังกฤษ

SAVE THE PLANET หนึ่งในคติพจน์ของชาวฮาร์ดร็อค และในวันที่ 14 มิถุนายนนี้ ชาวฮาร์ดร็อคขอเชิญคุณเข้ามาเป็นส่วนหนึ่ง และส่วนสำคัญ ในการอนุรักษ์ป่าโกงกางแห่งสุดท้ายของพัทยา ที่คลองนกยาง บริเวณสวนสาธารณะนาเกลือ จังหวัดชลบุรี

โรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อคและคาเฟ่ พัทยาร่วมกับเมืองพัทยา กลุ่มอนุรักษ์อ่าวนาเกลือ เด็กนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนโพธิสัมพันธ์พิทยาคาร แขกที่เข้าพักที่โรงแรมฮาร์ดร็อคพัทยา และพนักงาน จะร่วมกันปลูกป่าโกงกาง ปล่อยปูแสม เพื่อช่วยกันรักษาให้ป่าโกงกางผืนนี้ได้อยู่ต่อไปอย่างยั่งยืน

ฮาร์ดร็อคได้รับเกียรติจากคุณอิทธิพล คุณปลื้ม นายกเมืองพัทยา ในการเป็นประธานเปิดงานในครั้งนี้ โดยพิธีเปิดจะเริ่มเวลา 10.30 น.หลังจากนั้น มีกิจกรรมสนุกๆ เช่นทัวร์ป่าโกงกาง walk rally และหลังจากรับประทานอาหารกลางวัน ก็จะมีการเก็บขยะทำความสะอาดบริเวณป่าโกงกาง ปลูกต้นโกงกาง และปล่อยปูแสม จบงานด้วยการมอบรางวัล ถ่ายรูปกลุ่ม ณ เวลา 15.30 น.

ทำไมเราจึงต้องช่วยกันอนุรักษ์ป่าโกงกางนาเกลือ
ป่าโกงกางคลองนกยางที่นาเกลือนี้ถือเป็นป่าโกงกางแห่งสุดท้ายของพัทยา ป่าผืนนี้ยังเป็นที่อยู่อาศัยของนกยาง นกยางเปีย นกปรอทหน้านวล ปูแสม ปลา และสัตว์อื่นๆอีกมากมายหลายชนิด ที่เป็นตัวสร้างความสมดุลให้กับระบบนิเวศที่เปราะบาง ป่าโกงกางเป็นแหล่งทรัพยากรธรรมชาติที่สำคัญ และมีเอกลักษณ์เฉพาะตัว ส่วนต้นโกงกางที่มีรูปร่างหน้าตาดูตลกนั้น ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงที่อยู่อาศัย เป็นที่ขยายพันธุ์ และแหล่งอาหารของสัตว์น้ำนานาชนิด เป็นที่อยู่ของนกชายทะเลอีกมากมายหลายชนิด ป่าโกงกางยังทำหน้าที่เป็นแนวกั้นและลดระดับความแรงของคลื่นทะเลที่เข้ามากระทบฝั่งอีกด้วย

SAVE THE PLANET - PATTAYA’S LAST MANGROVE ON 14 JUNE 2012 HARD ROCK HOTEL AND CAFE PATTAYA , FOUNDE

Come and help us to celebrate our Founders’ Day on Tuesday, 14th June 2012! On this day 41 years ago, the first Hard Rock Cafe in the world was opened in London.

As part of our mottos, ‘SAVE THE PLANET’, Hard Rock Hotel and Cafe Pattaya invite you to join the conservation of Pattaya’s last mangrove at Naklua Recreation Park, Chonburi on 14 June 2012.

Together with members from Pattaya City Hall, Naklua Bay Conservation Group, students from Phothisamphanpittayakarn, guests and staffs of Hard Rock Hotel and Café Pattaya will be planting the mangrove tress and releasing ‘Samae’ crabs to keep the Naklua Mangrove growing and lasting. We are honor to have Mayor of Pattaya City, Khun Ittipol Khunpluem to grace and preside over this special event.

Join our fun-filled activities starting from 10.30am onwards with the opening of the event, followed by mangrove tour and team up for a mini walk rally. After lunch, all participants will join hand to clean and collect garbage in the area, plant the mangrove tress and release ‘Samae’ crabs and ending the event with award presentation and group photo as well at 3.30pm.

Why Naklua Mangrove? It is Pattaya’s last mangrove and home to egrets, little egrets, yellow-vented Bulbul, ‘Samae’ crabs and fishes that keep the balance of our fragile ecosystems. Mangrove is a very important resource and a unique ecosystem. The funny-looking mangrove trees is not only a habitat, breeding, nursery and feeding grounds for a great variety of marine life as well as nesting areas for a number of coastal birds. It also acts as a buffer against the sea that reduces destructive waves.
