Hilton Pattaya Organizes Teddy Bear Charity Ride to Celebrate 100 Years of Hilton with Local Community

Hilton, one of the fastest-growing hospitality companies in the world, has kick-started its 100th anniversary celebrations in South East Asia. In the lead-up to its centennial milestone on 31 May 2019, the global hospitality company aims to bring what it coined “The Hilton Effect” to life through a series of initiatives that will involve more than 12,000 Team Members across nine countries to impact communities and surprise guests.

Following in the footsteps of founder Conrad Hilton, hotels across the region are celebrating by engaging the communities in which they operate. Hilton Pattaya led by the management team and volunteers hotel’s bikers organized ‘Teddy Bear Charity Ride’ to the students at Baan Khao Chong Lom School in Khao Chamao, Rayong. They delivered a lot of fun and happiness to the kids by donating teddy bears, stationaries, fire extinguishers and necessities which were supported by Central Pattana Public Company Limited, the hotel’s Guests and the fundraising campaign ‘Garage Sale’ by the hotel’s team members. The volunteers also helped each other for setting up the computers, installing the wall fans and the water coolers, organizing the fun games and hosting their lunch. Moreover, the security team also provided the knowledge and the instruction of using the fire extinguishers to the students.

เมื่อวันที่ 31 พฤษภาคม 2562 ที่ผ่านมา โรงแรมฮิลตันทั่วทั้งเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ได้ร่วมกันเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 100 ปีเครือโรงแรมฮิลตัน นอกจากการเป็นหนึ่งในผู้นำของธุรกิจการโรงแรมที่เติบโตได้อย่างรวดเร็วไปทั่วโลก ฮิลตัน ยังเป็นผู้นำในชุมชน โดยแนะนำโครงการ Hilton Effect เพื่อส่งเสริมให้โรงแรมฮิลตัน และพนักงานของฮิลตันมากกว่า 12,000 คน ใน 9 ประเทศในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ได้มีความคิดริเริ่มในการสร้างสรรค์กิจกรรมต่าง ๆ เพื่อส่งต่อสิ่งดี ๆ สู่ชุมชนโดยรอบ รวมทั้งสร้างความประทับใจให้กับแขกที่เข้าพักอย่างต่อเนื่อง

หนึ่งในกิจกรรมที่โรงแรมฮิลตันต่าง ๆ ทั่วเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ได้จัดขึ้นเพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมฉลองครบรอบ 100 ปี คือการทำกิจกรรมเพื่อสังคม และชุมชนท้องถิ่น โดยเป็นการตอบสนองนโยบายของคุณคอนราด ฮิลตัน ผู้ก่อตั้งเครือโรงแรมฮิลตันอีกด้วย

โรงแรมฮิลตัน พัทยา นำโดยผู้บริหาร และตัวแทนพนักงาน ร่วมกับทีมไบค์เกอร์ จัดกิจกรรม Teddy Bear Charity Ride เพื่อส่งต่อความสุขให้กับน้อง ๆ โดยการส่งมอบตุ๊กตาหมี อุปกรณ์การเรียน ถังดับเพลิง และสิ่งของที่จำเป็น ให้แก่น้อง ๆ นักเรียน โรงเรียนบ้านเขาช่องลม อำเภอเขาชะเมา จังหวัดระยอง โดยสิ่งของดังกล่าวได้รับการสนับสนุนจากบริษัท เซ็นทรัลพัฒนา จำกัด (มหาชน) แขกที่เข้าพักที่โรงแรมฮิลตัน พัทยา รวมทั้งรายได้จากการจัดกิจกรรมเปิดท้ายขายของการกุศล หรือ Garage Sale ที่จัดขึ้นโดยพนักงานของโรงแรมฮิลตัน พัทยา นอกจากนี้ ตัวแทนพนักงานยังได้ร่วมติดตั้งเครื่องคอมพิวเตอร์ ติดตั้งพัดลมเพดาน ติดตั้งตู้กดน้ำดื่ม จัดกิจกรรมสันทนาการ เลี้ยงอาหารกลางวัน และสาธิตวิธีการใช้ถังดับเพลิงอย่างถูกต้องจากตัวแทนแผนกรักษาความปลอดภัย เพื่อเป็นการเสริมสร้างความรู้และทักษะที่จำเป็นให้แก่นักเรียนอีกด้วย
