Hilton Pattaya Participates in Hilton’s Largest Annual Global Career Initiative

Hilton Pattaya has taken part in Careers@Hilton Week, Hilton’s annual global career event showcasing the many opportunities available in the hospitality industry for young job seekers. During mid of May, Hilton hotels and regional offices around the globe hosted hundreds of events to update young people about the exciting and diverse career opportunities in the hospitality industry.

This initiative is a part of Hilton’s Open Doors commitment, which aims to positively impact at least one million young people by 2019 by connecting them to opportunities in the hospitality industry, preparing them to reach their full potential or directly employing them. Hilton is on track to reach this target, with nearly 800,000 young people impacted through global partnerships, talent pipeline and local activations to date.

On May 23rd, Hilton Pattaya hosted an event that welcomed fifty students from Faculty of Management and Tourism, Burapha University in Chonburi. Many fun activities were introduced during the day to allow the student to experience the hotel and spend time at each department including an hotel tour to front and heart of the house, standard room set up and folding towels by Housekeeping, standard table set up, wine serving and making mocktail by Food & Beverage, cooking their lunch by Kitchen, enjoy lunch together and Q&A session with management team. Moreover, Management Trainee program and career opportunities for youth in Hilton hotels were introduced to the graduated students who seek for the jobs.

Careers@Hilton Week events are a unique opportunity for Hilton to inspire job seekers about careers in the hospitality industry, and to support them by providing guidance on the skills that are vital to succeed in the workplace and beyond. Participants join Hilton for events ranging from résumé clinics to networking, as well as presentations from current employees about their career paths in hospitality.

โรงแรมฮิลตัน พัทยา เปิดบ้านต้อนรับนิสิตมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาในกิจกรรม Careers@Hilton

โรงแรมฮิลตัน พัทยา จัดกิจกรรมแนะแนวอาชีพ หรือ Careers@Hilton แก่น้องๆนิสิตจากคณะการจัดการและการท่องเที่ยว มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้น้องๆนิสิตได้เรียนรู้ และสัมผัสประสบการณ์การทำงานทางด้านการโรงแรม เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนก้าวเข้าสู่การทำงานจริง

เริ่มต้นกิจกรรมด้วยการเยี่ยมชมโรงแรมและแผนกต่างๆ ต่อด้วยการลงมือปฏิบัติงานจริง ภายใต้การดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิดของหัวหน้าแผนก ได้แก่ การปูเตียง และการพับผ้าขนหนูในรูปแบบต่างๆ โดยแผนกแม่บ้าน, การจัดโต๊ะรับประทานอาหาร การเสิร์ฟไวน์ และการทำม็อกเทล โดยแผนกอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม, การปรุงอาหารเมนูต่างๆ เพื่อเป็นอาหารกลางวัน โดยแผนกครัว, ร่วมรับประทานอาหารกลางวัน และการแบ่งปันประสบการณ์การทำงาน รวมทั้งคำแนะนำต่างๆเพื่อเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการทำงานในอนาคต โดยตัวแทนผู้บริหาร นอกจากนี้ แผนกทรัพยากรบุคคลยังได้แนะนำโครงการผู้จัดการฝึกหัด หรือ Management Trainee และโอกาสในการทำงานในเครือโรงแรมฮิลตันแก่น้องๆนิสิตที่มีความสนใจ และกำลังมองหาตำแหน่งงานว่างในสายงานโรงแรมอีกด้วย

กิจกรรมแนะแนวอาชีพ หรือ Careers@Hilton เป็นหนึ่งในกิจกรรมของโรงแรมในเครือฮิลตันทั่วโลก เพื่อเสริมสร้างประสบการณ์ และเตรียมความพร้อมให้แก่คนรุ่นใหม่ ในการสมัครงานและการทำงานในสายงานการโรงแรม โดยจัดขึ้นในระหว่างเดือนพฤษภาคมของทุกปี โดยมีความคาดหวังในการสร้างอาชีพให้คนรุ่นใหม่มากกว่า 1,000,000 คน ภายในปี 2562 นี้
