พัทยา ประเทศไทย – 25 มีนาคม 2558 – โรงแรมฮิลตัน พัทยา นำโดย มร. รูดอล์ฟ โทรสต์เลอร์ ผู้จัดการทั่วไป จัดการแข่งขันวิ่งบันไดอุ่นเครื่องสร้างจิตสำนึกในเรื่องการประหยัดพลังงาน รักษ์โลกและช่วยรักษาสิ่งแวดล้อมที่ดีให้มีอยู่อย่างยั่งยืนตลอดไป โดยการใช้บันไดแทนการใช้ลิฟท์ ซึ่งเป็นหนึ่งกิจกรรมในโครงการปิดไฟให้โลกพักหรือ Earth Hour ณ โรงแรมฮิลตัน พัทยา

"กิจกรรมวิ่งขั้นบันไดครั้งนี้ เราจัดขึ้นเป็นครั้งที่ 2 เพื่อสร้างจิตสำนึกในการใช้พลังงานให้น้อยลงแก่พนักงานโรงแรมฯ โดยให้เหล่าพนักงานได้ร่วมแข่งขันจากชั้น 1 จนถึงห้องอาหารฮอไรซัน ชั้น 34 ดาดฟ้าของโรงแรมฯ ในงานนี้มีทั้งรางวัลแก่ผู้ที่วิ่งเร็วที่สุดและรางวัลการแต่งกายยอดเยี่ยมทั้งประเภททีมและประเภทเดี่ยว นอกจากรักษ์โลกแล้ว การแข่งขันครั้งนี้ก็ช่วยสร้างความเป็นทีมและความสนุกสนานให้กับพนักงานฮิลตันด้วย" มร. รูดอล์ฟ กล่าว

พนักงานกว่า 100 คน ได้เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันวิ่งบันได ซึ่งโรงแรมฮิลตัน พัทยา เป็นที่เดียวที่มีการจัดวิ่งบันไดในเมืองพัทยา กิจกรรมนี้ได้จัดขึ้นเพื่อยกระดับการประหยัดพลังงานในหมู่พนักงานของโรงแรมฯ เพื่อลดการใช้ลิฟท์ และกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ประสบความสำเร็จเพราะได้รับความร่วมมือจากพนักงานในโรงแรมฯทุกคน

Hilton Pattaya Organizes The 2nd Staircase Race Earth Hour Run

PATTAYA, Thailand – March 25, 2015 – The team members of Hilton Pattaya led by Mr. Rudolf Troestler, General Manager recently organized “The 2nd Staircase Race”, with the aim to raise energy saving awareness amongst team members. The event will commence on Wednesday March 25, 2015 at the welcome lobby of Hilton Pattaya

“The second staircase race from level 1 to level 34 was arranged for our team members not to use lifts but instead using the stairs where necessary. This race was joined by more than 100 team members kicking off the annual Earth Hour activities. I hope this will increase initiatives to save our planet” said Rudolf Troestler, General Manager, Hilton Pattaya.

Almost 100 team members joined Hilton Pattaya’s staircase race which was named the only vertical staircase run in Pattaya City. This activity was organized to raise energy saving and Earth Hour awareness among Hilton Pattaya’s team members to reduce the usage of elevators. The fastest runner of this race spent only 4 minutes to reach the 34th floors. This successful event was filled with the already cheerful and relaxed nature in which the hotel and its team operate daily.
