จากความเชื่อที่ว่าสิงโตมีความศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ทั้งมีอิทธิฤทธิ์ที่จะบันดาลโชคลาภมาให้ คอยช่วยปกป้องและปัดเป่าโพยภัยต่าง ๆ ไม่ให้มารังควานผู้คนได้ และเชื่อกันว่าผู้ใดได้ชมการเชิดสิงโต จะมีโชคลาภ เจริญรุ่งเรือง เป็นสิริมงคล ทางโรงแรมฯจึงจัดให้มีการแสดงเชิดสิงโตที่ล็อบบี้และห้องอาหารของโรงแรมฯ

Hilton Pattaya welcomes the year of Monkey with the Chinese Dragon and Lion dances

Hilton Pattaya welcomed the year of Monkey with a traditional Chinese ceremony at the hotel lobby led by Mr. Rudolf Troestler, General Manager (4th from left) and Khun Phatrarika Phatraprasit, Director of Business Development (3rd from left) along with hotel team members. We had celebrated the Chinese New Year with the performance of Dragon and Lion dances at the hotel. The dance was performing at hotel lobby; the loud noise from the drum has attracted and excited all guests. The dragon and lion dances are an important part of this traditional Chinese festivity that they both are thought to bring good luck and scare away the evil spirits.
