Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa Celebrates Global Week of ServiceHilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa brings the light and warmth of hospitality to the community by celebrating the annual Global Week of Service simultaneously with other Hilton properties across the globe.From August 21 through August 23, 2019 the Hilton Phuket team organized and took part in different sets of outreach activities that impact the local Phuket community. The series of activities commenced with a visit to the Child Development Centre at Kata where the team donated toothbrush and stainless steel cup sets as a way of teaching proper oral health care to the students. On August 22nd, the Hilton Phuket volunteers were split into two teams- team one was headed for Wat Suwankiriket School to donate stationery and sports equipment, while the second team was assigned to Wat Suwankiriket (Karon Temple) for temple-cleaning, landscaping, and food offering. After the two activities, the teams served a hearty lunch to the students and teachers at Wat Suwankiriket School as well as to the monks and personnel at Karon Temple. On August 23rd, two activities took place to conclude the Global Week of Service. In the morning, the team donated aluminum items for the creation of prosthetic legs to the Prostheses Foundation of H.R.H the Princess Mother at the Provincial Office for Natural Resources and Environment.
