Fantastic feasts for deserving dads this Father’s Day at InterContinental Bangkok

Bangkok, Thailand: From fine cuisine at Fireplace Grill and Bar, an international buffet journey at Espresso to a special Father’s Day set menu at SoCal and tasty treats designed for dads at the bakery outlet Butter, this December the dining outlets at InterContinental Bangkok, a MICHELIN Key holder and one of Southeast Asia’s Best Hotels in Condé Nast Traveller’s 2024 Reader’s Choice awards, offer families perfect culinary opportunities to celebrate precious papa.

At InterContinental Bangkok dads really are made to feel extra special – and one gets to dine for free in each group of four or more guests when they experience the special 4-course Father’s Day set menu at the hotel’s renowned Fireplace Grill and Bar. Available from 5 – 7 December 2025, the menu stars a range of European classics that include beef consommé with foie gras and pear profiteroles steeped in cognac; slow-roasted dover sole and blue crab with a rich sea urchin sauce; and tender-grilled Australian Mayura M9 beef with polenta, black truffle and an exquisite Madeira sauce. It’s a rewarding repast for deserving gentlemen. The 4-course set menu is THB 3,000++ per person.

To mark Father’s Day on 5 December, over at the hotel’s popular all-day-dining venue Espresso – where once again a lucky dad in each group of four or more guests dines for free – families can indulge in a wonderful international dinner buffet featuring a host of favourite dishes from around the world. The culinary creations include soups and salads, cold cuts and cheeses, a mouthwatering choice of main course dishes that spotlight Thai, Middle Eastern and Mediterranean delights, and tempting treats for dessert. In addition, live cooking stations turn out made-to-order pasta, BBQ and carvery gems alongside delicious dim sum and noodle dishes from the Far East. The Father’s Day buffet is priced at THB 1,900++ per adult and THB 950++ per child aged 7 to 12. Children 6 years and under dine free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Meanwhile at sunny SoCal, special Father’s Day dining and drinks menus are served from 1 to 14 December 2025. The dining menu features a wide choice of dishes, so a manly meal for dad could start with grilled baby squid and green asparagus salad with white beans, ginger sauce and black squid ink, followed by grilled santorini octopus with pan fired chorizo sausage, smoked yogurt, yellow split pea puree and potatoes or slow-grilled Mayura oyster blade beef with cipollini onions and green asparagus, and rounded off with a serving of The Orchard Gentleman, an enlivening dessert of orange blossom mousse with roasted almond crunch, olive oil lemon cake and apricot and thyme compote. The 3-course Father’s Day set menu is priced at THB 1,990++ for 2 persons and THB 1,100++ per person.

Special Father’s Day cocktails to match the hearty fare include the Spiced Legacy mixed with Rum Zacapa, star anise-infused Campari and a splash of Vermouth Rosso, and the Citrus Daddy, a zesty mix of orange peel-infused Absolut vodka, Cointreau and fresh lime juice. For dads who drive, special mocktails are available and include the Papa’s Fizz comprising fresh yuzu and pineapple juice, agave nectar and Indian tonic, and the Dad’s Lagoon, a refreshing blend of coconut water, lemon juice, elderflower cordial, butterfly pea-infused lime. Special Father’s Day drinks start from THB 250++.
