Summer specials lined up at InterContinental Bangkok

3 April 2024, Bangkok, Thailand: As the summer sun shines and the city heats up, head to InterContinental Bangkok where a schedule of sunny day specials is lined up. From Khao Chae to summer smoothies and Songkran celebrations we are ready for good times for all in the centre of the city.

Khao Chae at Balcony Lounge

Savour the taste of tradition with Khao Chae, a royal court dish at the serene setting of Balcony Lounge. Guests can enjoy this cool, refreshing jasmine rice in fragrant chilled water, served with contrasting savoury condiments including stuffed shallots with fish, shredded sweetened pork, and deep-fried shrimp paste ball.

Available from 1st to 30th April, 2024, this refreshing classic Thai delicacy is being served daily at Balcony Lounge from 11.00 to 17.00 hours. Priced at THB 460++ per set.

Summer Smoothies at Butter

From April 1st to May 31st, 2024, Butter has a choice of summer smoothies that will cool you down and revitalise you with their wholesome, fresh ingredients. Served from 08.00 to 19.00 hours, indulge in a burst of flavour starting from THB 220 net per glass.

Songkran Celebration Splash

During the holiday, from April 12th to April 21st, add an extra splash of Songkran excitement with cocktails and mocktails specially crafted to evoke the spirit of the traditional Thai New Year, available at various times throughout the day at InterContinental Bangkok.

Cocktails are priced from THB 390++ and mocktails are priced from THB 250++. Available at Espresso from 06.00 to 22.30 hours, Summer Palace from 11.30 to 14.30 hours and 18.00 to 22.30 hours, and Balcony Lounge from 08.00 to 24.00 hours. SoCal has its own special listing of creatively crafted cocktails, serving them up with Californian pizzazz from 11.30 to 23.00 hours.

Indulge in Rum Songkran, a delightful cocktail artfully crafted with the finest Kosapan rum, coconut juice, a splash of fresh lime juice, harmonised with the rich flavours of Thai tea syrup, pandan syrup and Thai rose syrup. For those seeking a non-alcohol alternative the signature mocktail is the Malai with watermelon juice, exotic dragon fruit syrup, fragrant jasmine syrup and lime juice, all gracefully complemented by the essence of coconut water.

ข้าวแช่ถือกำเนิดขึ้นเป็นครั้งแรกในราชสำนักสมัยรัชกาลที่ 2 และปัจจุบันเป็นหนึ่งในอาหารที่ได้รับความนิยมรับประทานในช่วงฤดูร้อน เพลิดเพลินกับข้าวหอมมะลิเย็นฉ่ำลอยน้ำดอกมะลิและกุหลาบ รับประทานคู่กับเครื่องเคียงต่าง ๆ ได้แก่ หอมแดงสอดไส้ปลาชุบแป้งทอด หมูฝอย และลูกกะปิทอด เป็นต้น

ตลอดช่วงฤดูร้อนปีนี้ บัตเตอร์ แนะนำน้ำผลไม้ปั่นเย็นฉ่ำเพิ่มความสดชื่นที่เลือกใช้แต่วัตถุดิบคุณภาพเยี่ยม สดใหม่ และมีประโยชน์ ให้บริการตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 เมษายน ถึง 31 พฤษภาคม 2567 เวลา 08.00 น. ถึง 19.00 น. ราคาสุทธิเริ่มต้นแก้วละ 220 บาท

สาดน้ำเฉลิมฉลองเทศกาลสงกรานต์
ในช่วงวันหยุดสงกรานต์ ตั้งแต่วันที่ 12 เมษายน ถึง 21 เมษายน 2567 เพิ่มความสนุกและความตื่นเต้นให้กับเทศกาลสงกรานต์ด้วยเครื่องดื่มค็อกเทลและม็อกเทลที่รังสรรค์ขึ้นเป็นพิเศษเพื่อร่วมฉลองวันปีใหม่ไทย ให้บริการตลอดทั้งวันที่ห้องอาหารต่าง ๆ ของโรงแรม อินเตอร์คอนติเนนตัล กรุงเทพฯ
