Sunday Songkran Brunch Gather the family and get a head start on Thai New Year celebrations at Novot

This year Songkran, the Thai New Year, begins on a Monday. So start holiday festivities early with a special Sunday brunch– Songkran Brunch – at The SQUARE, Novotel Bangkok Ploenchit Sukhumvit.

Along with many international cuisines on The SQUARE’s expansive buffet, Songkran Brunch will feature khao chae, a traditional dish of rice soaked in jasmine-scented water and topped with ice – a cool treat in the summer heat! Other Thai specialties include authentic Thai curries and appetisers.

International highlights include seafood delicacies like New Zealand mussels, fresh oysters, river prawns and poached blue crab. Also on the buffet will be Indian curries, sushi and sashimi, roasted meats, assorted appetisers, rice with red pork, chicken rice pasta with sauce, and foie gras station.

For dessert, a Songkran holiday meal wouldn’t be complete without mango and sticky rice, an array of colourful Thai desserts. Additional dessert choices include cake, ice cream and tropical fruits.
