Embrace the weekend at FRIDAY UNWIND on the second Friday of every month from 6.30 pm to 8.30 pm in the chic surroundings of Zest Bar & Terrace.

At FRIDAY UNWIND on February 10, 2012 guests are invited to a relaxed and indulgent evening of special “La Vie en Rose” Valentine’s cuisine to celebrate the month of love. Prepared by Executive Chef Joachim Kreisel and his passionate culinary team, the selection of delicious hot and cold light bites will be complemented by free flow of wines. There will also be live music from the Soundsation Band.

The delectable Valentine’s canapés will include a flavourful confit duck, sage and olive tortellini with melted Taleggio, refreshing watermelon gazpacho, a delicious king prawn saltimbocca with dried tomato, raisins and pine nuts, and the Japanese-inspired akami tuna tartar with feta cheese, capers and mint. UNWIND guests will also enjoy crab salad with mustard butter and cumin crisp, and succulent roasted beef tenderloin with horseradish crust, barley bannocks and bitter chocolate sauce. There’ll also be a divine sweet temptation of macaroon à la rose stuffed with strawberry Romanoff cream.
